With the buzz around the ICC World T20 slowly dying, Cricket fans have yet another mega tournament to look forward to — IPL 2016. The ninth iteration of the Indian Premier League kicks off tomorrow, but tonight the it will be welcomed with a grand opening ceremony in Mumbai. The opening ceremony will start at 7:30PM IST, and in case you are not at home, here’s how you can watch the live stream online.
The opening ceremony is being hosted at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Stadium National Sports Club of India, SVP Stadium in Mumbai. The ceremony kicks off at 7:30PM IST and will be aired on Set Max, Sony Six, Sony Six HD, Sony ESPN and Sony ESPN HD. Tonight’s opening ceremony is likely to pip the previous iterations in terms of the scale and grandness. International artists like Chris Brown, and Major Lazer too will be performing at the opening ceremony tonight.
